Culture Snap Scene: Dynevor Furniture

Meet Joe. Joe Terrone of Dynevor Furniture.

I met Joe while doing a photo walk of Eglinton Avenue West last year. Dynevor Furniture has been open for 75 years and Joe has been running it for the past 50 of them.

I love meeting real people who have helped build a neighbourhood and our city.

Joe is definitely one of them.

Be sure to visit Eglinton Ave W these days. The area is struggling under the aggressive construction work for the Crosstown LRT. Small businesses need our support in order to survive.

Henry VanderSpek aka Culture Snap Photography loves Toronto, but likes to wander too. Whether in Tanzania or Toronto, he thrives capturing unique street scenes and any sort of vibrant cultural expression. He’s been a few places and done a few things, but would rather hear what you do than go on and on…
