Sweat & Salt: White Tour

Girth Radio Presents…

Love yoga? Hey me too! I attended the Lolë White Tour last year at Garrison Park in Toronto. This year the outdoor yoga event will be held at sunset at the Exhibition Place.  The Lolë White Tours will take place in Toronto on July 28 and in Montreal on August 18.

I’m glad to hear they moved this to a sunset event as the afternoon sun was a tad hot without much shade last year.

Why do I like this outdoor yoga event over others?

The intention of the tour is dedicated to inner peace.

It’s not everyday you get to practice in an open space with hundreds of others sharing the same intention.

Participants are invited to wear white as a symbol of peace. I know what your gonna say, I’m not putting white yoga pants on. But for reals yoga clothes do not look bad on anyone. Last year I managed to find a pair of shorts I have worn again. Wearing white is symbolic and against the yellow mat it makes for a great photo for your insta-feed. #yoga #yogagirl #funinthesun

This year the musical guest is Ariane Zita. She’s a Francophone indie-folk singer songwriter whose sound will pair well with the outdoor yoga led class.

The annual Lolë White Tour was launched in 2012 with the goal of building a global wellness movement.

Since then, Lolë has united over 50,000 yoga lovers around the world, bringing top yoga talent together with local communities to practice in inspiring, emotionally uplifting locations. The tour has become renowned in the wellness space for promoting personal connections, community involvement, and the opportunity to experience the exceptional.

The event is well organized. The volunteers work really hard to coordinate the event and the gift bag is well worth it.
