What’s your ritual to celebrate success?

When you have a birthday you get the cake, candles…the song. Those are symbols as much as they are cues: you are older and it’s time to put your hectic life on pause (only for this moment!) and look back or even better…look ahead. That works for birthdays…what do you with success? How do you celebrate success?

From success it’s on to feminism and then onto graphic design! We eventually get to the music too…while also covering J.D. Salinger (you know why right?) to Bowie who remains (even in death) the inspiration for taking a risk and living and creating with less risk management. Easier said than done.

This 2 high fives interview featured this outstanding quote:

“Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.” – Oscar Wilde

There is a cost to being a weirdo…confidence isn’t always consistent, boldness is necessary and there are miles between fear and fearlessness. Martha openly shares her struggles managing the emotional life of an intelligent creative while fiercely protecting her femininity determined. The result is a strong unique woman who lives up to the idiom…she truly roars.
