In Session With…No Sinner

What’s more rock n roll than a raspy voice from getting into late night ruckus?
Colleen Rennison clearly had a late night before coming to Girth but she still wanted to give the live performance a go. Show Must Go On!
I appreciate her willingness. Her raspy voice lends the songs a raw and rough indie quality: very rock n roll.
After the live performance when I asked about listening to contemporary music her response was engaging. Listen to No Sinner and the old school influence is clear. Their music is out of time in a way.
S’funny how rock less as a genre and more as a sound is hard to describe or convey yet the moment you hear it you’re like…that’s rock music.
