ISBN (International Standard Book Number): A unique number assigned to each book. Publishers purchase one of these for each edition and variation of a book.
Indigo: Canadian chain bookstore—similar to Barnes and Noble in the USA, but slightly more high end, with lifestyle items as well as books and electronics.
Quill & Quire: A Canadian magazine about books and the publishing industry, which was founded in 1935. It is very well known in Canada, and is regarded to be one of the top resources for information and news about the industry.
