Leo Franco is an artist whose absolute passion for music and drive for creative advancement resonates with each and every set he plays. When he was 16, Leo started learning how to DJ on Vinyl and it was then he knew what his true calling would be. Since then, Leo has focused his creative energy on producing music that best expresses his style, sound and personality. Leo’s minimal and deep tech productions still maintain a groovy, sexy sound with lots of energetic bass and idiosyncrasy. Gaining support from artists such as Nathan Barato, The Junkies, Ricky Syfer, and Chris Larsen it has been an incredible journey with a number of opportunities for Leo, thus far.

Leo Franco has played alongside the likes of leading international artists Blond:ish, Damian Lazarus, The Junkies, Nathan Barato, and Nitin. He’s headlined one of Toronto’s most influential underground summer parties Cherry Beach, and played top venues such as Coda, Comfort Zone and The Guvernment.
2016 see’s great success for Leo, as he releases his 3rd EP on Toronto based label All Blak and a number of other projects we all look forward to hearing.

Wonka, known to his friends as Aleem, was born and raised in Toronto. He started DJ-ing at fifteen, initially submerged into the hip hop and r&b culture, it wasn’t until ten years later, when he began his journey with house music.

Winning a DJ battle at Toronto’s infamous after hours: The Comfort Zone, is what started his adventurous tale as a house DJ. Within a few quick years Wonka was able to build recognition amongst DJs, promoters, club owners and partygoers as a true class act! We have seen his versatility as an artist develop while he had the honour of opening up for such DJs as: Marco Carola, Davide Squillace, tINI, The Martinez Brothers, Tale of Us, Dubfire and DJ Tennis, just to name a few.

As the journey of every artist continues to grow as time moves forward, it will be very exciting to see where Wonka goes next!
