The first hour and half is Iris Santo’s opening set and from 1:34:00 Mystic Mind takes over. At the 3:30:00 mark Iris and Navid went b2b for the rest of the night.
Iris Santo is Toronto’s rising talent and is making a name for herself in the underground electronic music scene. She is one of the most recognized DJs in town radiating endless amounts of energy and charisma at each show. Her style showcases a mystical blend of deep house and techno where she draws abstract inspiration from Maceo Plex, Guy Gerber and Art Department.
Determined to make her dream a reality, Iris Santo bought a pair of turntables and learned the art of music creation and sound manipulation through vinyl, and eventually converting to the digital experience. It didn’t take long for her undeniable talent to be recognized booking gigs at top nightclubs such as Coda, Muzik, Parlour, Wildflower and Maison.
Staying true to her underground sound, she made her first international debut at Ultra Europe 2015 in Split, Croatia. She featured her first production “Arabian Sandstorm” at Ultra Europe and is currently in the studio continuing to evolve as a producer.
In 2010, Navid took his love of electronic music to the next level and started his DJing career. Since then, he has played gigs at various clubs in Toronto such as TOIKA, CABAL and MOD Club and in 2014 he played at Eclipse Festival in Quebec. He has also opened for international artists such as Luis Junior, Pole Folder and John ‘00’ Fleming in Toronto. Expect anything from deep, progressive house to banging techno from a Mystic Mind live set as he is already being proclaimed as one of Toronto’s most diversified acts.
